We’ve had the privilege of working with the Land Bank for many years, so when the opportunity came to refresh their website and brand, we were excited. The Land Bank does important, tangible work for Lucas County, and our goal was to build a site that lives up to that: one that’s as efficient and helpful as the organization itself.

The site needed to work hard on two levels. Functionally, it had to make it easy for users to request a property, schedule a home visit, or find the right services quickly. But it also needed to tell a story: the Land Bank’s story, and the story of the community they serve. Real photography and voices from the people impacted by their work were essential to conveying the depth and reach of what they do.

The design is clean and community-centered, striking a balance between professional and welcoming — the right tone for a public agency that also wants to feel like a neighbor. Throughout, we prioritized fast load times and mobile responsiveness, ensuring accessibility across the community it serves.
